However hotel met most of our needs for our overnight stay prior to visiting Alton towers.

Friendly staff. Nice pub/restaurant next door. If, like me, you are a non smoker, book early. I didn't and had to go in a smoking room. Despite claims that the room had been freshened up, I had to sleep with the windows open to avoid suffocation. So, overall, an ok hotel for short stays, but not much more.

I would like an ironing board in the room. The recepton ran out of boards and iron dod not work. All staff were extremely helpful and polite. well equipped and very clean and tidy.
