When making the booking I asked for a non-smoking room. The confirmation came back non-smoking subject to availability. On his arrival My MD went to his room only to find that is smelled very badly of cigarette smoke, unacceptably so for a non-smoker. He went to reception to ask for a different room only to be told that none were available. While I appreciate that all rooms are subject to availability what I find unacceptable is that after 10 minutes of being told that there wwere no other rooms available you found him one!!! We will look to use another hotel on his next visit to Leeds.

The menu was not great for my evening meal, so I left and went to Pizza Express. Thanks, Gina

Good handy hotel, good value, no baths! I got a lovely room for £51 incl. breakfast, single occupancy. My only grumble was that after a day shopping and having my hair done in Leeds I was looking forward to a soak in the bath before I went to a party at the armouries next door. Unfortunately all rooms only have showers - not a bath to be found anywhere in the hotel. Other than that I would recommend it.
