Overview
Hotel Fontana Rome is located in the historical centre of Rome in a recently restored building dated back to the 16th century and offering the finest view within the city. Rooms are available with a view of the Trevi fountain or at the rear. The rooms facing the fountain have a ceiling fan. Most of the rooms are antiquely furnished and offer en suite bathroom with shower or bath, satellite television and direct dial phone. A new suite has been appointed for either families or couples wanting to be more comfortable, the suite is composed by two connecting doubles facing both the Trevi fountain and each having its own en suite bathroom. Hotel Fontana is perfectly situated near Trevi fountain. The staff is courteous, professional, helpful, competent. There was a peculiar smell in the room but not so bad as to give this hotel a bad review. I have spoken to my friends about the hote...
