Good restaurants and shopping nearby. Recommend it.

The hotel offers no frills, but a great location. The room was clean and spacious, with a mezzanine - ideal for a family with children. If you are looking for character look somewhere else, but if you want a good base from which to explore the city this is it.

It was nice that they are available 24 hours because we left at 5 am and he was there to open gates so we could catch a watertaxi right on the grand canal. Location is fabulous! It is close to San Marco Plaza. THe breakfast was very good and they have a expresso machine! It was a twin bed

If you go in summer, it's hot and there is no air conditioning. But they do provide room fans. Very basic room, somewhat like a dormitory room, but roomy and comfortable.
