This hotel was everything I wanted. I actually had a single room, but it was impressively spacious, and quiet. Some shower gel would have been appreciated.

The fridge was broken which we did not know causing us to have to threw away items we bought.

Breakfast was of low quality in a nice atmosphere. Service was good.

'EXECUTIVE ROOM' I FEEL, WAS A DESCRIPTION OF THE COST RATHER THAN THE STANDARD OF ROOM. HOWEVER, A VERY COMFORTABLE, CONVENIENT PLACE TO STAY AND 'RICKS' IS A REALLY GOOD PLACE WITH A DECENT BREAKFAST MENU!

I would recommend it with the above mentioned comments. Having stayed at Frederick House before, and having been impressed with its decor and cleanliness, I feel it is need of a spruce up! Torn curtain and stained chair do not create a good impression for first time guests. Also, at this class of hotel, I would expect at least a shower cap to be provided for each guest as well as, perhaps shower gel.
