Grabler Brau Hotel, Salzberg.
My wife and i had a pleasant stay in this hotel. One big surprise was no air con in the rooms. The decor is a bit run down, basic and old. The wooden floor in my first room was very old. But the bed, sheets, and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The
... staff are resposive and helpful. i changed to a junior suite after a night in a classic double. The nice looking photo on the net was a superior bouble. There are two big advantages with staying here. One is the very convenient location. You are within 15 min by foot from all major tourist spots. Second is the restaurant on the ground floor, called richard myer stubn. It is a great find during our stay. The place served very fine delicious austrian cooking. We tried potao soup, beef consumme soup, grilled scampi ( prawn ) salad, pasta, roast pork, grilled pork steak, and grilled beef fillet. We are all very satisfied. The decor and atmosphere are warm and relaxed. The price is medium range and very reasonable. After the first meal there, we had three meals there.
