Friendly welcome. Immaculate room, with all amenities. Quiet room with double glazing and air-conditioning. Excellent breakfast. Amazing value in an otherwise expensive city. Lift was a bit slow. I will return next year on holiday!

The hotel itself though was very pleasant and clean, and the staff spoke good English and were helpful. It does have a computer for checking internet for a small charge - but be warned that this is only available at certain times. The breakfast was a nice continental style buffet with a reasonable selection, particularly if you have a sweet tooth.

The coach services from the various airports all stop at the station, which makes the travelling very easy. Numerous Metro lines also run from here. There are a few cafe / bars within an easy walk, a market on Saturday and a superb restaurant in the next road. The hotel staff are very friendly but very profesional too. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I shall be staying at the Garda Milan again.

Firstly, when I opened the window, the entire thing fell on me. I had to close and lock the window in order to secure it. The bathroom is tiny and almost completely plastic! The hair dryer almost did not work and you could not feel any air blowing out! The shower was leaking so much that the water was running into the room and the entire bathroom floor was under water!

The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was adequate and the bar drinks very reasonable.

I had a comfortable well appointed single room with excellent large bathroom, all very clean. A minor point was nowhere to lodge suitcase in open position (except on floor). Breakfast was laid in two different areas. I seemed to discover the one where the person serving the coffee was least attentive. He forgot me. However I'm sure this was a one off slip and he was very apologetic. Not a serious problem. The reception staff were efficient and friendly in a buisness like way. I'd definitely recommend it as good value and so convenient for station.
