Glenapp Castle Ayrshire is located one mile from the A77 Glasgow to Stranraer trunk road near the village of Ballantrae. A short drive North from the castle, along the scenic Ayrshire Coast, takes guests to Burns country, a part of Scotland steeped in history. Besides, guests can travel South to Galloway, famed for its gardens which spread along the Solway coast. There are many nearby local attractions such as Whithorn, known as "the cradle of Christianity", St Ninian's Cave and Kirkmadrine Stones.
