Golden Tulip Ambra Palace Rome is a new 4 star hotel located close to Vittorio Emanuele square and the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore.The hotel is within walking distance to the Colosseum, the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, the Central Railstation, the Opera House, the most important monuments and shopping areas. Opened in March 2001, the hotel is the result of a complete renovation of a building that dates back to 1850. It offers a nice mix of tradition and most updated technology. The location is very good for visitors by airplane because the platform of Termini for the airport is very close, 5 minutes walk.
