The location of this quaint hotel was second to none, situated within the heart of the old town, and accessed by narrow cobbled streets. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing maps and information on local attractions, which were only minutes away! The bedrooms were clean, bright and tidy and being 500 years old the building retained all its history and character. We ate in the hotel restaurant which did not disappoint, and it was obviously well thought of, as in mid October was very busy, with non residents. All in all a very enjoyable trip I would highly recommend the Hotel Goldene Ente. The location was wonderful. It would be helpful to have hooks or shelves in the bathroom.
