A few minor problems in the dining room, mostly related to foreign staff with limited English. Web site info says there is a guest laundry - there isn't. But on the whole this was a very pleasant stay in a comfortable property. Room was better than expected (we have been to Scotland before & experienced "historic" hotels) Room was recently refurbished and very comfortable

First room had triple beds, strong odour possibly from bed linen. Carpet outdated and old general impression bad. Second room samller no shower and TV looked antique and didnt work.
