From the Hague - Rotterdam - Schiphol Area (A4)

At the end of the A4 take the A10 Ring road West in the direction Zaandam. Take on the ring road the exit Haarlemmerweg (S103). After 2.6 km turn left on Haarlemmerplein. After 100 m turn right into Tussen de Bogen. After 1.7 km turn right into Prins Hendrikkade.

After 500 m will see Grand Hotel Amrath on the right hand side. Keep driving for a while. After 400 m turn right into Kalkmarkt (here are no traffic lights). Turn at the first street to the right, the Binnenkant Drive up until the traffic lights at the end of the street. The hotel valet parking service will take care of the car.

From The Amersfoort - Hilversum Area (A1)

At junction Watergraafsmeer on the A1 keep left: A10 Ring road Noord (North) (direction S114). Take the first exit Zeeburg (S114). At the end of the exit turn left at the traffic lights into IJburglaan in the dirction of Zeeburg/Artis. Follow this road for 3.1 km. Directly at the end of the Piet Heintunnel turn right into Piet Heinkade, direction Central Station.

After 1 km turn left after second traffic lights into Kattenburgerstraat underneath the railway, direction Centre. After 1.1 km continue on the road over the bridge and follow the turn right. Go straight ahead at the three traffic lights. After 0.2 km turn left directly after the bridge into Kalkmarkt (here are no traffic lights). Turn at the first street to the right, the Binnenkant. Drive up until the traffic lights at the end of the street. The hotel valet parking service will take care of the car.

From Utrecht (A2)

At the end of the A2 keep right, A10 Ring road Zuid (South) (direction S114). Take exit Zeeburg (S114). Continue the route as mentioned in "From the Amersfoort – Hilversum area (A1)".

From Haarlem (N200) / Alkmaar (A9)

Take the N200 direction Amsterdam. Go straight ahead into the A200 direction Amsterdam. After 12 km straight ahead into Haarlemmerweg (S103). Continue the route as mentioned in "From The Hague – Rotterdam – Schiphol".

From Hoorn - Zaandam (A7-A8)

Follow after 3.6 km on the junction Coenplein the A10, E35 direction Amersfoort/Volendam. Take after 5.2 km exit Volendam (S116) direction Noord/ Nieuwendam/ Centrum. After 500 m take right on the Nieuwe Leeuwarderweg (S116) direction Noord/ Nieuwendam/ Centrum.

After 4.4 km (after the tunnel) take the exit, direction Central Station. After 0.2 km take left after the bridge, into Kalkmarkt (here are no traffic lights). Turn in the first street to the right, the Binnenkant. Drive up until the traffic lights at the end of the street. The hotel valet parking service will take care of the car.

Travelling by Train

Arrive at Central Station of Amsterdam. It is a 500 m walk towards Grand Hotel Amrath. After coming out of the station turn left, pass the station building. After passing the bus station cross the street en continue the route in the same direction. (after crossing the street turn left into Prins Hendrikkade). Pass the VOC cafe Schreierstoren. The road turns right. Right after this bend can see Grand Hotel Amrath.
