How to get to the hotel:

From Airport Berlin Tegel

With Public Transportation: Take the X9 bus from main station Haupthalle to Zoologischer Garten. Change onto 100 bus for Prenzlauer Berg, and exit bus at Lützowplatz. Total travel time is 33 minutes, plus a three-minute walk from Lutzowplatz to the hotel.

From Airport Berlin Schonefeld

With Public Transportation: Take shuttle bus to city railroad station S-Bahnhof Schonefeld, change there to Airport-Express (in the direction of Nauen, Wittenberge, or Stralsund), which leaves in 30-minute intervals from 5:13 a.m. to 1:21 a.m., to Zoologischer Garten. Change to 100 bus going to Lutzowplatz. Total travel time is 40 minutes.

From Railway Station: Take S-Bahn train 5, 7, or 75 (in the direction of Spandau) to Zoologischer Garten. Change onto the 100 bus for Prenzlauer Berg, and exit bus at Lutzowplatz. Total travel time is 15 minutes, plus a three-minute walk from Lutzowplatz to the hotel.

Autobahn A2 from Hanover and Autobahn A9 from Leipzig Nuremberg: Transfer at autobahn junction Potsdam and / or autobahn junction Werder to Berliner Ring A10 towards Dresden. Transfer at autobahn junction Drewitz to A116 towards Berlin. At autobahn junction Funkturm, take exit Messegelande / ICC Internationales Congress Centrum. Exit autobahn A115, the ICC is now on the right. The traveller are now on the Messedamm. Keep on driving. Turn right at intersection Messedamm / Kaiserdamm. Stay on Kaiserdamm in the direction of Ernst-Reuter-Platz.

Take the second exit at the traffic rotary. The traveller are now on Strasse des 17, Juni, which takes the traveller to the next traffic rotary Siegessaule. The first exit is Hofjagerallee, which becomes Klingerhoferstraoe after the first traffic light. Go straight using the left lane, and turn left after the bridge towards Mitte / Potsdamer Platz into Lützowufer. Grand Hotel Esplanade Berlin is on the right-hand side. The underground car park / garage is a couple meters / yards behind the hotel entrance drive on the right.

Autobahn A24 from Hamburg/Rostock: Transfer at autobahn junction Havelland to Berliner Ring towards city center Berlin-Zentrum. Transfer at autobahn junction Oranienburg to A116 towards city center Berlin-Zentrum. Transfer at autobahn junction Charlottenburg to A100 towards city center, and take exit Spandauer Damm. Take a left into Spandauer Damm towards Charlottenburg, pass Schloss Charlottenburg, and go straight ahead towards city center on Otto-Suhr-Allee until traffic rotary Ernst-Reuter-Platz.

Take the third exit, on Straoe des 17, Juni, which takes the traveller to the next traffic rotary Siegessaule.
