A part form that it is a lovely hotel, with a real timeless elgance. The pool area was very well run & the food& sevice there was excellent. we had one night in 406, a beautiful newly refurbished room with lovely ensuite, 3 windows but no balcony. we moved to 146, in the older part coz we like a balcony- this had a fabulous terrace but on reflec the room itself was not so nice, the bthrm v small (like the tv.!)and wished we had'nt!
