My visit to the Grand National Hotel in Luzerne was very pleasant. There were no suprises. Only minor issue was the two single beds, pushed together to form a larger bed. This was not expected. Everything else, quite nice.
On the shores of Lake Lucerne, sits the Grand Hotel National Lucerne, Switzerland, built in the style of a French Renaissance castle. This magnificent hotel opened in 1870 and created a stir by being larger and more ornate than any other previously constructed. Impressive guestrooms are decorated with custom rugs and furnishings. All guestrooms and suites overlook the lake and offer an incredible view of nearby Mount Pilatus. Suites have spacious seating areas with comfortable sofas with coordinating fabrics. Brass beds are covered in crisp linens.
