 Grand Regina Alpin Wellfit Hotel Grindelwald, member of the prestigious group the Leading Hotels of the World, is situated in the center of the beautiful glacier village Grindelwald right in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Located opposite the little train station, it forms the perfect starting point for a day of superb skiing in the vast ski areas of the jungfrau region or an unforgettable excursion to the jungfraujoch the top of europe.

Grand Regina Alpin Wellfit Hotel Grindelwald was built in 1902 for the then predominantely british clientele. The turreted victorian-style guilding still reflects the spirit of those days. In 1955, the hotel was bought by Mr Alfred Krebs and completely refurbished. Ever since then millions more have been invested with the principle aim to inhance guest comfort. the year 1977 marked the opening of the reginahaus a chalet style building which houses nine luxurious apartments for two to six persons. The regina haus is linked to the main building by an underground passage way with shopping arcade and offers direct access to the pool area.

Today the Grand Regina Alpin Wellfit Hotel Grindelwald offers 100 rooms including 15 suites and 4 penthouse suites of which most enjoy an unsurpassed view of the majestic snow-capped mountain peaks such as the eiger and the wetterhorn, private collection of over 500 oil paintings engravings and clocks of the 18th century. Convention facilities for up to 200 persons with the most up to date equipment are available for seminars and conferences. It has become one of the most complete resort hotels: its facilities comprise of two heated pools in and outdoor, two clay tennis courts available summer only with a pro , a spacious sunbathing lawn, sauna, solarium, massage, hair- dresser parlour and an 18 hole golf course nearby.

Most of the vegetables and flowers at the hotel are organically grown in its own farm and greenhouse. the Grand Regina Alpin Wellfit Hotel Grindelwald is famous for its exquisite cuisine and efficient service: the classic restaurant La Pendule D'or provides the perfect setting to enjoy the culinary creations of the hotel Chef De Cuisine. A pianist enhances the elegant atmosphere in the rustic jagerstube the guests can relish traditional and regional swiss specialities. For those who do not wish their evening to end after dinner a live band entertains in Regina Bar starting at 9pm daily.
