Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. There was a wedding reception being held on both nights but we were still catered for in the bar area. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but looking at the menu be reassured it is top quality stuff. With quality comes a price! Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. Would be nice to have an outdoor patio area when nice weather, but the carpark is already very small so couldn't encroach in that area. Great location just a 10 min walk down the road into the city - no need to move the car out.

The hotel is just a few minutes taxi ride from the train station and an easy walk into the old city. We were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we walked in, our room was ready and our bags were carried up by one of the staff. The room itself was impressive with its size and very tasteful accomodations. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and modernized. We had the full English breakfast in the elegant hotel dining room and it was delicious. Overall, iwould rate the Grange as a 5 out of 5.
