We had just what we needed in the room, tv, hairdryer, kettle etc. the people working in the hotel were very friendly and serviceminded. My only complaints is that two bulbs were blown (one in bathroom and one by the bed). I am sure it would have been replaced if we had told reception, but we did forget every time we went down there, so it cannot have been that bad. Thank you for a pleasent stay. I will certainly recommend your hotel to family and friends. The bed was so nice and big and comfortable, enough pillows and nice cover.

Absolutely central, within walking distance of all sights in the city centre, directly on Grassmarket. Great! Small, but cozy room. Clean. Just the ensuit bathroom was always cold - no heating in the bathroom. Overall: Good

That's what this hotel is all about. That and a reasonable price. However, making my way through the rabbit warren of corridors I took a wrong turn and ended at the top of a set of stairs which were unused, strewn with litter an filthy. The hotel needs to be clean - all of it.

Had no problems, was comfortable and ideal for a short break.

In our case two extra flights of stairs to climb. Large ramps on steps in corridors hazardous. Dining room stuffy and overheated due to direct contact with kitchen.Air conditioning units did not appear to be working properly if at all. Bed room did not have air conditioning. Travelled with another couple who got a room twice the size of ours for the same money. Only shower in our room which was not very clean. I.E Mould on grouting. Remote control for tv needed batteries. Were not replaced despite being told about them.
