Silence in the City Centre
I stayed in the hotel corona on business and found it to be warm and welcoming. As a woman travelling on her own i felt safe and i loved the location. It is set in a lovely square, opposite the parliament buildings and surrounded by lots of lovely restaurants/shops
... and a cinema right across the road with english movies.
if i was to make any negative comments i would say this:
1. It took along time for me to check in when i arrived because the female receptionist kept leaving me to attend to phone enquiries from hotels guests.
2. The hotel has a policy of swiping your credit card on arrival to the value of 400 euro even though my stay only cost 260euro. This annoyed me and i didnt understand why the hotel does not just put through the amount it will cost for your total stay. As a result of the hotels policy my credit card was declined and i had at my own expense to use my mobile to call my bank at home to find out why my card was not working.
3. There was an electrical failure in my hotel room and i had no information by my room phone as to what number to call to reception so i had to get dressed and go down and tell them what had happened.
