There are a number of labels that could be used to describe Hotel Hellsten Stockholm - Design, Hip or Boutique being three of them. The founder's firm intention, however, is that the hotel should be a meeting place for travelers of all disciplines and interests, and become their home while staying in Stockholm. 12 of Hotel Hellsten Stockholm's 78 rooms have traditional porcelain stoves, in beautiful colours and forms. Interior design and furnishings change from room to room. Some rooms feature various antiques, including Swedish farm antiques, while others have a distinct Asian touch. The rooms have the necessary support functions for a productive and relaxing stay with TV and free broadband access. The Hotel Hellsten Stockholm garden wing of the building was earlier the home of several record companies. A fully equipped international standard recording studio, designed by Sweden's foremost acoustic designer, operates in the basement, with the elevator reaching directly there from the hotel rooms above. In the basement is now a fully equipped gym.
