Ever since the Herodion Hotel Athens opened in 1976, the hotel has held a unique reputation for it's guests. It is designed to meet the needs of the most discerning business and leisure travelers.

Please note:

** Starting on the 14th February 2009, the Metro of Athens will be partly closed from Ethniki Amyna station to the airport station, for the next six months, due to the works underway for its further extension.

** During this period the transportation from the airport to the Herodion Hotel Athens will be available by:
a. Taxi that costs about euro 35 during day time and euro 45 during night time.
b. The combination of the Proastiakos train to Neratziotissa station where you change to line 1 till Omonia and then change to line 2 direction Aghios Dimitrios and get off at Akropoli station.
c. Bus X95 to Syntagma and then Metro line 2 direction Aghios Dimitrios and get off at Akropoli station.
d. Private car arranged by the Herodion Hotel Athens that costs about euro 45 during day time and euro 55 during night time.

** The new Acropolis Museum, located next door to the hotel, will be temporarily closed to the public. Work on the finalization of its exhibition program is underway in view of its official opening in the spring of 2009.
