Directions to the Hotel
By Car
From whichever direction you approach the City of York, drive around the outer ring road towards the North-East side of York in the direction of Scarborough. Exit on the A1036 (not the A1036 West). Straight into York on the A1036 Malton Road, passing Monks Cross and Heworth Golf Course on the right. The road becomes Heworth Green after a mini roundabout, and the hotel is on the left - just before the pedestrianised centre.
By Train
If you are travelling between London and Edinburgh, a train journey is usually much quicker than by car. York is on the main Edinburgh to London line, and car hire is available in York.
Transportation Options
Although the centre of York is within easy walking distance, good public transport is also available in the area, including freephone private hire taxi services and regular bus services, the Park & Ride shuttle bus service goes straight past the front of the hotel every 15 minutes through the day, and nearby bus stops in East Parade, Heworth Church and Dodsworth Avenue. A coast liner service picks up from Stockton Lane, only two minutes walk.
