We particularly enjoyed the wide selection of whiskies at the bar.

Choice and quality of food in restaurant very good.

My wife wanted to attend the Good Food Exhibition at the SECC and I decided to pay that little bit extra to hopefully give her a visit to remember.
After initially missing the Junction 18 exit from the motorway (poor signage) we eventually found our way to the hotel by a somewhat circuitous route.
First impressions were very good and we found most of the staff very helpful and courteous. The room was everything we had hoped for and access to the Executive Lounge was an added bonus particularly for breakfast.
After spending an enjoyable if somewhat tiring 5 hours at the SECC we decided to relax in the hotel and to enjoy our evening meal in the hotel.
Whilst the service wasn't the quickest we weren't in any hurry and the food itself was of an extremely high standard.
If we visit Glasgow again for a short stay we wouldn't hesitate to once again stay at the Hilton.

Hilton Glasgow is very efficient. I have stayed in this hotel on business as well as leisure. A clean, classy hotel. Only comment is that during busy periods, lifts are very slow and takes a long while. I have been staying in this hotel since 2002 and it has always been very efficient, clean and good for meeting clients.

Everything was at the high standard you would expect from the Hilton group, but what makes this hotel better than the rest, is the staff - they were all superb, and made us feel special.

When I arrived at the Hotel at 6pm on a Saturday night the car park was full. This caused frustration however, to make matters worse, I got shouted at for following instructions from two members of your staff directing people into the carpark/carpark space

I stayed 3 nights and the fire alarm went off 5 times. I was on the 17th floor!! At no time was a roll call even started although I mentioned it after the first occasion. The Manager said that they wanted to find out why the alarm went off first. The Manager in charge of safety didnt seem to appreciate that time is of the essence in an emergency. I was not impressed.

Night porter service closed - we had to order a double round of drinks as the bar was closing. A five star hotel should offer all amenities late on - 12.30am or thereabouts isn't good enough and the minibar alternative offers too narrow a selection. Aircon was too cool. Even on maximum temperature it did not seem to work properly. OK for me, but my partner suffered a bit.

Did not like the fact that while still in bed some one had to come in to check mini bar.

very slow check out. Overall, I wouldnt stay there again. The best part was the beds and bedding. the interior lighting was the worst I have ever encountered in any hotel in the world. The room was also quite small. Also, the windows didnt open and the hotel and room were very stuffy. They did supply a lamp when requested. There was no printer in the business lounge,

the hotel should not need to charge for car parking it diminishes the stature of such a good hotel and looks like penny pinching

No breakfast included while other 5* hotels do. Should have included, like other 5* hotels - toiletries like tooth brush, tooth paste, sewing kit, cotton-buds, shaving kits, shower cap, bath-robes, etc.
