I booked over the interent and the room was reserved with a credit card. I arrived at 1115 on Saturday - the room on the second floor was not ready. I came back at 1315 and the room was still not ready. On both occasions the receptionist saw my voucher. I indicated that I did not wish to wait around and would spend the afternoon in the dockyard. They were ok with this as they already had my credit card. I came back at about 1630 hours and was given room 10 - a tiny non-executive room on the ground floor. I went back to reception who were well aware that I had reserved an executive non-smoking room but still gave the room that I had reserved to someone else. They offered me a smoking room - I declined. Pretty poor show I would say - I would not recommedn this Holiday Inn to anyone. R. Landymore

I did complain to reception who dismissed by complaint by saying that they are all the same!
