Staff was able to speak to me in english which was very helpful as my flemish is non-existent and my french is rudimentary. They were very helpful to assist personally when there was an initial problem with my keycard.
the hotel, while not near the
... city, is very convenient to a tram to the station and to the old centre. The transport was cheap, comfortable and reliable. It was even easy to take my luggage in the tram when i signed out.
the breakfast is fairly expensive (21 euros). However, it is generous, varied and of good quality. You can even squeeze your own fresh juice.
the restaurant food and service are good. The food is plentiful and of good quality. The house red is drinkable.
i would stay there again.
