A swimming pool would be a wonderful addition. Imago Restaurant on roof top served food which was a bit too fussy (eg. seafood pasta with powdered chocolate!) Room was very well appointed but floor space was limited.

When we arrived by car in the evening, we were informed that our reserved suite was not available due to an "accident", that no other rooms were available in the Hassler, and that a room had been booked for us at the Hotel Eden. The Hassler did provide us with a complementary dinner in the restaurant that evening, but guided us towards the selection of an inferior wine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return the next time in Rome.
