The rooms were basic but attractive and adequately appointed. The restaurant offered a modest selection of meals at reasonable prices. It's probably half a mile or so to the main shops and a mile or so to the sea. The area in the immediate vicinity of the hotel is not particulary attractive but the hotel is ideally placed for anyone travelling by train since it is literally a 2 minute walk from the station. I did trips to Cannes, Juan les Pins, Antibe, Villfrance-sur-Mer and Monaco by train so for me the location of the hotel was ideal. I would use the hotel again if in Nice.

The hotel was clean and comfortable although a bit shabby in places. The staff were corteous and helpful and the continental breakfast (an extra 7 Euros) was of a good standard. The hotel has the added benefit of an outdoor swimming pool which, early on a Saturday evening, in the height of summer wasn't busy at all but was a refreshing welcome after a long journey! Overall, this was good value for money.

The escalators both inside and outside the building were most welcome especially after a day of walking around the city. Although I did not use the pool,it was pleasant to sit in the bar area chatting or catching some sun. In all,a pleasant and reasonably priced hotel in a central location.

The personel is good and helpful. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and accomodate all my needs. I travel light and there is room for all my luggage.

Surprised at the small size room. The door led directly to the bed area!
