Location, Location !!! Reviewer: Carol Fleming Date of review: 12 October 2007 Recommends this hotel: NO Recommended for: Business Room Hotel Facilities 1 Bed 1 Ambience 1 Cleanliness 2 Service 1 Room Size 3 Location 1 Amenities 3 Value for Money 1 We arrived on a weekend and found theTwin room we booked not available despite having booked early.So we were in a double right on the street and unable to have a window open for obvious reasons. My son was given a truckle bed. We were moved to a twin room the following day but were not offered any discount for the 1st night in the wrong room. An alternative room was offered to us which was the Disabled Room which we declined as I was not tall enough to be able to use the amenities. There was not staff available to remedy this problem being the weekend. The cleanliness of floors of this hotel also were not good. Whilst the breakfast was adequate the fruit flys were unpleasant. The canal is an open drain which runs behind the building and the Hotel opens onto a rather seedy street next to a sex shop so the picture on the Internet is really deceiving. I could not recommend this Hotel and found the 3 star rating to be incorrect.
