Buses close for ride into city which is 1000 stairs up the hill. Small beds, very hard mattress.

Would have used it every night for an aperitif as we had a large terrasse. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast rolls were hard to digest but the yoghurts and ham and cheese a good idea. The pillows weren't very comfortable. The bedspread a bit ugly (orange tartan!) and the shower curtain in bathroom was very old. Otherwise all OK.

Took care of my laundry and they also kept part of my luggage while we went away for a few days. Good Hotel, friendly. Convenient for the ferry to Capri, Naples etc. Very noisy though.

But the hotel was a massive walk not the 200 - 300m from station described. Bad mattress, hole in bed cover, tiny window, a bit prison like, thin towels but shower good.

We arrived a day early, and they shuffled people so that we did not have to move rooms. The restauranteur directly outside the hotel is a little 'hard pressure'.

Comfortable though not large, but well furnished,with a lovley view.

The walls were rather thin though ! The room was great and was spotless, the cleaners did a great job.
