Overview
The Royal Terrace Hotel Edinburgh is part of an expansive Georgian Terrace, over looking Scotland's historical capital, the city of Edinburgh. Architect William H. Playfair designed this Georgian hotel, which has retained much of its original charm and character. With spectacular views over the Firth of Forth, The Royal Terrace Hotel is situated only a few minutes walk away from the city centre. Outstanding cuisine, delightful surroundings and the hotel's unique, private, landscaped and terraced gardens, are appreciated by many of the guests who return time and again for either business or pleasure. With 108 well-proportioned bedrooms, including 13 luxuriously appointed suites in the Ambassador Wing, the hotel offers 21st century service with 19th century charm. Many bedrooms overlook the terraced gardens. The Glenlivet suite has its own private patio area and dining area, with the Aberlour and Balvenie Suites boasting unique glass bathrooms. Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing the second phase of a £3.2 million refurbishment. There will be as little disruption to guests as possible, however, the leisure club facilities are closed for the duration of the refurbishment. |
