The Hotel Lloyd Amsterdam is a Dutch hotel centrally situated in the fashionable heart of Amsterdam's Eastern Docklands Area. Renowned Dutch architects, designers and artists have transformed this monument dating from 1921 in a hotel where many inhabitants of Amsterdam, international artists, tourists and business people feel at home.
The Hotel Lloyd Amsterdam is very well situated. It is near the city centre (direct public transport connections), access from the ring-road is easy and from the rooms lovely views over the water of the fashionable Eastern Docklands area are to be had. The hotel has parking facilities of its own in a parking garage. There's also a boating dock in front of the hotel if the guest are interested in getting there with their own boat.
How to get to the hotel:
By car, approaching from the A10 ring road
Take exit S114 (Zeeburg/Centrum/Artis) and follow the signs for Centrum, the centre. Follow this road straight ahead. It will lead into the Piet Hein tunnel. In the tunnel, keep to the right hand lane. When you exit the tunnel turn right at the lights, onto the Piet Heinkade. Turn right at the first lights.
The road takes a sharp turn to the right, the guest are now on the Oostelijke Handelskade. If the guest wish to park in the parking garage, turn right into the garage after the second building. If not, keep going straight ahead along the Oostelijke Handelskade. The Hotel Lloyd Amsterdam is located 400 meters along on the right hand side.
Approaching from Central Station (by car or bicycle)
From the back of the central station (facing the water), turn east (to the right). The water is on the left. Follow the road until there are buildings on the left hand side of the road. Continue straight ahead, and turn left at the second light. The road takes a sharp turn to the right, the guest are now on the Oostelijke Handelskade.
If the guest wish to park in the parking garage, turn right into the garage after the second building. If not, keep going straight ahead along the Oostelijke Handelskade. The Hotel Lloyd Amsterdam is located 400 meters along on the right hand side.
Public transport from the Central Station
Take tram 26 (IJtram) for a direct connection and get off at stop Rietlandpark. Taxi services is also available around the hotel.
