Directions to the hotel: From the International Santa Catarina Airport, follow the main road (via rapida) west to Funchal. As you enter Funchal, continue until you reach the harbour where you turn right. Continue along the sea front passing both the Marina and harbour on your left-hand side. After reaching the Sá Carneiro roundabout, continue forward and beyond the harbour the road bends to the right and begins to go uphill.
