We stayed in this hotel for a mixture of leisure and business reasons and found it excellent for both.

It was our first stay in a Malmaison, and I enjoyed the brand values - style, humour, urbanity. Several people told us, including taxi drivers, that we were staying in one of the best hotels in Belfast.

Lovely spacious bedroom with little extras, great plasma screen, excellent restaurant and bar and other stylish communal areas.

Very impressed with the hotel. My only issue was the lighting in the bedroom was very poor. Needs a brighter light over the mirror.

Quite frankly breakfast (Irish or continental) should be included at the prices charged by this hotel.

It was our first visit to Malmaison Belfast, we had stayed in Malmaison Manchester recently. Both hotels are just wonderful, staff friendly, efficient and very professional.
We look forward to our next visit to a Malmaison of course.

Did not live up to our expectations. What was the point of having a DVD player in the bedroom when there were no DVDs even to rent out from reception. I was amazed that there was no sky digital t.v. in bedroom therefore channels were very limited to 6-7 3 of which were sports channels. Room was listed as a superior room but in comparison with other hotels of similar rating it was quite small. The room we were accomodated in was directly beside the household staff utility room and we had to put up with the noise of the door banging closed every few minutes in addition to laughing and loud talking by household staff from 6.30am. on the morning of our departure. I had to contact reception at 7am and made a complaint which was passed on to the duty manager. The hotel reduced our bill by GBP50.00 for the disturbance. The bathroom could have been cleaner particulary the bath. Best thing about this hotel was the room service menu which was excellent only critiscm would be the breakfast box which does not take into account those who are lactose intolerance due to dairy i.e. muesli was served on top of yougut and cornflakes are fine for those who take milk, and having to make your own tea/coffee with the kettle provided in the room takes away the feel good factor of breakfast in bed.

Excellent staff. Had lots of questions and a room change and they were delightful. Very stuffy and overheated even though no heating on! Initally had room at front and had to open windows. Main road very loud. But even with windows closed was still noisy.... Double glazing not good. Bathroom products smell cheap and nasty. Like something from a pound store. Broadband access good.

Very Dissappointed that hotel did not have any parking facilities. The only parking available is along the side streets

I felt this was very expensive and the fact that breakfast was not included was an unnecessary irritation. The decor was so dark it looked sleezy. Belfast was exceptionally busy and this was vitually the only empty hotel room in the city The room was good
