Meridiana Hotel Florence is easy to reach from the railway station or from the motorway, and it is in an ideal position to visit the city's attractions, such as the Duomo (Cathedral), the Fine Arts Academy, the Palazzo dei Congressi, and the Fortezza da Basso where the main trade fairs are held. You can park at the Hotel, which is just outside the central area of the city where traffic is limited to specially authorised vehicles only.
By Car:
From the south:- Taking the A1 Firenze Sud exit, follow the signs for the city centre. After crossing the River Arno, turn left and go straight on towards Viali di Circonvallazione. After one and a half kilometres, you must turn right, entering the Viali di Circonvallazione. Go straight on as far as Piazza della Libertà. Keeping to the right side of Piazza della Libertà, turn off into "Viale Don Minzoni" (where there is a sign for Fiesole – Stadio). After 100 metres, you will see the Hotel Meridiana on your left.
From the North:- Arriving from the A1, take the Firenze Nord exit and then follow the last stretch of the A11 which will take you to the city. At the “Firenze Nord” exit, follow the signs for CENTRO or VIALI DI CIRCONVALLAZIONE. When you are on the VIALI DI CIRCONVALLAZIONE, drive past the FORTEZZA DA BASSO, then take VIALE LAVAGNINI (follow the signs for Fiesole, Campo di Marte, Stadio). When you get to Piazza della Libertà, follow the signs for “Stadio” and “Fiesole”, taking Viale Don Minzoni. After 100 metres, you will see the Hotel Meridiana on your left.
From the Airport:- Follow the signs for CENTRO or VIALI DI CIRCONVALLAZIONE. When you are on the Viali di Circonvallazione, drive past the FORTEZZA DA BASSO, then take VIALE LAVAGNINI (follow the indications for Fiesole, Campo di Marte, Stadio). When you get to Piazza della Libertà, follow the indications for “Stadio” and “Fiesole”, thus taking Viale Don Minzoni. After 100 metres, you will see the Hotel Meridiana on your left.
By Train:- Take bus no. 1 A/B (in the direction of Lapo/Boccaccio) or no. 7 (in the direction of Fiesole) and get off at the Piazza Libertà bus stop. After 100 metres, you will see the Hotel Meridiana on your left.
