What we saw of the Meyerbeer beach was appalling and we would not have been prepared to stay there. Comments apply to Harvey, which was not much better. Were required to walk with luggage from M Beach to Harvey. A poor experience!

But, the staff were excellent in allowing us to cancel room day before bc of lost passport, helped us change reservations for next hotel. Supplied mats and towels for beach. The location is excellent, close to beach and shops for food and restaurants, and the Arcade for shopping. We didn't want to leave, and actually stayed two extra days. This place is excellent. I would like to buy it and live there year round. Had kitchenette, small table. Room and bath were adequate size for two people.

However the third used was not big enough for 3 adults, and provided a camp bed as the third bed. Had we have known, we may have booked twin rooms instead. Also, we did see something black beetle-like scuttlling inside the kitchenette cupboard... eugh.

Unfortunately our W.C. pipes were leaking on our first night,which we rectified by placing the small little bin provided in bathroom. The bed seemed hollow in the centre. Perhaps a touch up with paint would brighten up the room. Excellent location. Regards Michael O Sullivan.

His English was great and was a great asset to the Hotel. The room was dirty, the bathroom was also dirty. There were cigarette burns on the sheets, the room was infested with insects even in late March when the weather wasnt very warm. Disappointed.

It was great to have the fridge, cooker and microwave for the evenings
