I was most disappointed in the room, especially at the price. Wish I had chosen the travel inn, clean, modern and half the price per room. the breakfast room was lovely though.

TURIST BUS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOTEL DOOR. GREAT BATHROOM AND GREAT BEDS. ON THE MINUS SIDE; ONE LIFT OUT OF ORDER DURING OUR VISIT, AND THE ONE IN ORDER WAS ALSO USED BY HOTEL STAFF WITH FOOD TROLLYS ETC. SERVICE AT BREAKFAST COULD BE IMPROVED ;) HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THE HOTEL TO FRIENDS.

From past experience we know that there are much nicer rooms than the one we were assigned this time. You might want to negotiate this, However, the hotel's immediate proximity to Queen St. station makes it wonderful for jet lagged travelers who want to take a day in Glasgow before going on to Highland adventures.
