Not a pleasant stay
I stayed at this hotel as my father had stayed there many times some years ago before he died, and i thought it would be nice to stay there to see how he had experienced geneva.
i paid chf150 for a sub-standard room which had wall paper peeling
... off the walls. The bathroom was tiny and the shower door was missing, resulting in water from the shower spraying out onto the bathroom floor and toilet. Very dissappointing.
i am now staying in a youth hostel in geneva for chf30 per night which has considerably better facilities, including free internet assess, and much bigger rooms.
hotel moderne sadly isn't. I was very dissappointed.
