A3 coming from the south, (Frankfurt-Köln)
At Autobahnkreuz Hilden (Autobahn crossing Hilden), exit onto the A46 toward Düsseldorf-Neuss. Continue on till exit Düsseldorf-Stadtmitte-Universität. Take this exit and continue straight on along Mecumstraße, Erasmusstraße, Corneliusstraße, Karl-Rudolf-Straße, into the Oststrasse. The Hotel Monopol will be on the left hand side in the Oststrasse A3 coming from the north (Oberhausen). At the Breitscheider Kreuz (Breitscheider Crossing) exit onto the A52 toward Düsseldorf. Continue on till the end of the autobahn. Here continue straight on toward Stadtmitte, (City Center), along Münsterstraße, Nordstraße, Kaiserstraße, Hofgartenstraße, Immermannstraße. Then turn right into the Oststrasse. Monopol Hotel Dusseldorf will be on the right hand side of the street.
(The above named streets from Münsterstraße till Immermanstraße, are continuations of one street.) Monopol Hotel Dusseldorf has a few parking spaces of its own available. Coming from the north with the hotel on the right, pass the hotel and turn right into the Stresemannstraße. Approximately twenty meters on the right there will be a entry between the buildings (opposite you will see an asian bookshop) . Parking in the rear court.
From the airport
Take the S-Bahn (Underground, Tram) to Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). All trains from the airport go to central station.
On foot from central station
Exit Innenstadt (Inner city) Konrad-Adenauer-Platz, straight on along Friedrich-Ebert-Straße till Oststraße. Turn left on the Oststrasse and you will arrive at Monopol Hotel Dusseldorf after approximately 500 meters on the right hand side of the street. Walking time about 8 to 10 minutes.
