At first, follow the direction signs 'Stadtmitte / Hauptbahnhof' (city center / main station.). When coming from the north ('Platz der Republik'), the railway station is at the right hand side. Pass the station and turn left into the next street ('Mannheimer Straße'.) When coming from the south ('Friedensbrücke'), the station will be at the left hand side.
