Comment on Hotel : We were completely satisfied with our stay at the Hotel Monopole. We wanted a hotel close to the train station so that we could get to the airport easily the next day--we were only in Milan for one night. The hotel was modern, comfortable, clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated the free internet service and the breakfast. Being close to the train station, we could easily have availed ourselves of public transportation and seen all of Milan if we had time. There were good restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel was very reasonably priced. I actually couldn't have been more satisfied--it was much better than I expected.
