For a 3 star hotel the standard of comfort, cleanliness and service was adequate; reasonable value for money. Location was excellent. It would have been nice to have had a facility in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee. On our arrival on Thursday we requested hotel laundry and were told it would be collected from our room - this did not happen on two occasions and then on the Friday we were told they could not do the laundry as there were no facilities for laundry on a Saturday or Sunday which was a little frustrating. We were also informed at breakfast on the first morning that we would only be charged for 2 adults and the 2 children were free. However, on check-out we were told this was a mistake and that only one child was free. Overall satisfactory but would probably consider other hotels if returning to Barcelona in the future.

Staff were professional and gave good service. The safe required a key and it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. Bathroom amenities could have been better too eg. provide shower cap
