Overview
The Best Western Mosborough Hall Hotel Sheffield situated on the Yorkshire border yet only six miles from Sheffield City Center, dates back in parts to the 12th century and the main building to the 15th century. The present owner purchased the building in 1972 and after two-and-a-half years of careful restoration opened it as a hotel and restaurant in May 1974.The rooms vary in size and decor, some have four-poster bed and although all are en-suite, the character of the rooms in the main building has been retained. Whilst on holiday at the hotel, take a trip to Chatsworth House, Bakewell famous for its own pudding or the curiously twisted church spire of Chesterfield. Alternatively, try your hand with a round of golf at Renishaw Park Golf Club or a multitude of water sports at Rother Valley Country Park.
