However my three substantive comments which made my stay less than ideal are: 1. There is a beautiful outside area to sit and supposedly relax in. However, this is situated by the main entrance/exit and for some reason there is an audible alarm that goes off when a person or car passes through. If a car spends 40 seconds passing through it will trigger the alarm for 40 seconds. This ruins what would otherwise be a beautiful, tranquil spot. It can also be heard from the restaurant which is directly opposite and, for me, made both unuseable. I mentioned this to the staff member when I checked out and he said that they needed to hear when people came in (I pointed out that I didn't. Strangely I couldn't hear the same noise from inside their office) and immediately said that they couldn't afford a different system, which I thought was strange knowledge for a concierge to have at his fingertips, but said he would pass the comment on. 2. There was no gym and the concierges looked at me as if I was slightly mad when I asked whether they could tell me where the nearest one was. 3. On a more personal/trivial note the TV package in the room does not contain music channels - indeed there are only 2 English-speaking channels, though I assume the pay-movies are in English. Whilst I didn't eat there the breakfast looked basic for 12 euros.
