Reception had lost my copy of the original booking which showed a room charge of 97.50 Euros but I was charged 150 Euros! This delay in sorting out the bill nearly made us miss our train.

The only question we had for them that they could not answer was when does Dunkin Dounuts open. That would be 8 a.m. The location was wonderful. The hotel was close to so many "must see" locations in the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would be traveling to Berlin and have recommended it to friends as a great weekend get-away. The room was much nicer, larger and more comfortable than we expected for the price. The desk was great for laptop computer use. The room was very quiet, no distractions of noise from the hallway.

Food was very poor and the service not great. All amenities were good except the internet service. I did not manage to connect to the internet due to the need for an analogue modem. Even when reception finally gave me a very cumbersome adaptor with unclear usage guide, I could not connect. This is a very big problem for someone who is visiting the hotel on business and needs to access the internet from own computer (business centre is not sufficient).

I meant to report these to the housekeeping dept. but forgot.
