The NH City Centre is located in the heart of Amsterdam, overlooking the Singel Canal and close to the flower market, Dam Square, the Vondelpark shopping streets and the home of Anne Frank. The hotel has 209 cosy rooms and the restaurant d'Vijff Vlieghen. It is wellknown for the New Dutch Cuisine and is located in five authentic 17th century buildings.
Bar Gerzonis offers a warm atmosphere for a drink in the evening. Almost all the main sights in this vibrant city can be reached by foot from the hotel. The Van Gogh museum, the Rijksmuseum and the RAI Concention Centre can easily be reached by tram. There is a bus-stop right in front of NH City Centre for the Airport Shuttle Bus which allows guests to arrive at the airport in approximately 45 minutes.
How to get to the hotel:
By car
From Utrech (A2), Amersfoort (A1) and Hilversum (A1)
From the A2, take the A10 and exit at junction S-110 or the exit sign posted Centrum towards the Utrech Bridge. Turn right after the bridge and traffic lights, into Amsteldijk. After 2km will arrive at crossroads where will need to turn left. After 1km will see the left turn into the Heineken Beer Brewery. Turn right and at the roundabout continue straight on.
Now in Vijzelstraat. Folow the street unitl the third canal, (Herengracht) and take until Gasthuismolensteeg, and turn left. Cross the canal and turn right into Spuistraat. El NH City Centre is located at the end of the street, on the right hand side.
From Schiphol and the Hague(A4)
From the A4, join the A1 and take the exit Geuzenveld. Al final de la salida turn right into Jan van Galenstraat, in the direction of the city center. Turn right at the crossroads (Nassaukade) and later a left after the first traffic lights (Rozengracht) u until the Royal Palace. Gira a la derecha por Spuistraat. The NH City Centre is located at the end of the street on the right hand side.
By train
From Amsterdam central station take the number 1, 2 or 5 tram and alight at the third stop: Spui.
From the airport
From Schiphol Airport, the airport shuttle bus departs every 30 minutes which takes you to the hotel. This service is available from 6am until 10pm at an additional charge. Every 15 minutes there is a train to Amsterdam Central Station, from where the guest can catch the tram 1, 2 or 5 and alight at the third stop, (Spui).
Another option is to catch a taxi, which takes approximately 20 minutes.
