It was so much better than where we had stayed and not that much more expensive. We were also lucky enough to get into our room at 11am and so we really felt we got value for money. Location was great - on the river and opposite the Chocolate museum which was well worth a visit! The room was terrific and spacious. And there were fresh apples in the foyer!

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights in early Sept. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, but didn't speak English well. It was Germany though. They had a nice spa in the basement, were a close walk to Old Town and the other tourist activities for us not to use our car while staying there. Parking was about 17 euros per day. We had a positive stay and will look for NH Hotels elsewhere in our travels.

My selection was made on the basis of price and availability only as I had no prior knowledge of hotels there, but I have since already recommended you to another person planning to visit Koln. You are one of the best affordable hotels in which I have stayed while travelling for work (or pleasure).
