NH Luzern - midrange hotel for travellers Reviewer: Yu Kit Lee Date of review: 7 August 2009 Recommends this hotel: Neutral Recommended for: Leisure Room Hotel Facilities 3 Bed 4 Ambience 2 Cleanliness 4 Service 4 Room Size 3 Location 4 Amenities 2 Value for Money 4 The hotel is approx 10-15 walk from the train and bus station, but relatively near to the main attractions of Old town and very near the Dying Lion of Lucerne monument. It's located on a side street but is still noisy from the main road nearby. There are shops and restaurants nearby as well. Hotel doesn't have aircond - so beware if it's the height of summer, but is comfortable and clean with a decent bathroom, and staff were OK when checking in, with good service when we asked for extra pillows. If you like to be in the thick of action, then stay in old town or nearer the train station, but if you don't mind someplace a little further on and a but quieter, then this place is fine. Value-wise, it isn't cheaper than some of the better located hotels.
