This came at the end of a 3 week tour of France as we prepared for return to Canada by air next morning - so it was a wonderful opportunity to really rest and relax before the long air flight. The upgraded room was very pleasant and enjoyable and gave us a little more space to organize our packing etc. Staff was very helpful. They helped us arranged to drop off our rental car early and take the airport shuttle back to the hotel, and then use the shuttle the next am to get back to the airport. This saved us worrying about car return just prior to our return flight. We had room service after packing and doing the car errands with early baths and a chance to watch some sports on tv then an early night - all very relaxing after a long trip and prior to another long day. The hotel was beautifully clean and comfortable and staff very, very helpful. Thank you - we highly recommend.

A set of detailed instructions from from the airport would have been very helpful

The staff could not have been more helpful and they all spoke excellent English - which I do NOT expect, but which can occasionally be a nice bonus. The shuttle service was fantastic, the rates good. Room was excellent and SPACIOUS - so often a problem.

The snack chosen (Pasta) was edible and plain. I asked if I could order a second cup of coffee 11.20pm and the waitress said yes, however 10 minutes later a man who looked like a restaurant manager or something like that came to tell me the Coffee machine had been washed down for the night and the process for a coffee took 30 minutes or so. There was no coffee available. At this point my wife and I just laughed at the incompetence of the hotel, its customer unfriendly staff and the whole place. A very bad choice on our part, a farce of a place. They put us in a room that looked very dated and there was a smell of cigarette smoke, even though I requested non smoking room. The woman on reception was quite stern and spoke little English, as it was a 1 night stay we just accepted the pathetic situation.

The spare bed for our son was not already made up.
