By Car :

From the South or West (Katowice, Wroclaw or Krakow) :

Take the Al. Krakowska (which begins in the suburb of Janki) and then Grojecka Street towards Aleje Jerozalimskie (a very long avenue) and head eastwards. Driving along Aleje Jerozolimskie you will pass the Palace of Culture on your left and reach a roundabout at R. Dmowskiego (there is tall Novotel hotel on your right and the large Galeria Centrum department store on your left). Turn left at the roundabout and head along Galeria Centrum and Empik (on your right) until you reach McDonalds. Turn right at McDonald's into Swietokrzyska and drive through three successive sets of traffic lights, then turn left at the Krakowskie Przedmiescie / Nowy Swiat intersection onto the famous avenue Krakowskie Przedmiescie. Proceed ahead until you reach the Bristol Hotel and Zamkowy Square (you will note a huge red castle). You need to find a parking space somewhere in Podwale Street. Remember to buy a parking ticket.

From the West (todz or Poznan) :

Head straight along the following streets : Wolska, Kasprzaka and Aleja Solidarnosci. Pass through Plac Bankowy and shortly afterwards turn right into Bielanska Street to get to the Theatre Square, where you must turn left into Senatorska Street and straight ahead onto Podwale Street.

By Train :

From the railway station, cross the main road Al. Jerozolimskie via an underpass and go to the bus stand outside the Marriott Hotel where you can take bus number 175. Purchase a ticket from the driver or inside the railway station (advisable if you do not speak Polish). Get off at ul. Miodowa.
