Ripped off by taxi driver who did the old round and round the city trick - however staff had told us it would cost no more than 50 euro so when challenged that the driver missed the "turn-off" - Aurealia???, he had no real answer! We onlypaid him 50 euro! Good easy access to town through metro.LOvely courteous staff!

Beautiful grounds. Internet access must be purchased it is not included in rate.

The hotel was large and very grand but at a reasonable price (even for me, a student!) The staff were polite and helpful and the food excellent. The hotel is within a few short metro stops from all of the main sights of Rome and the metro was easy enough for us to work out. Our room was spacious, clean and welcoming especially after a long day of sightseeing! There are a few leisure facilities in the hotel such as TV and a bar, which was useful for us as, due to work on the metro line, the last train was at 9pm so we had to be back early or try to find a bus (the concierge told us which buses to use, but we were too chicken!) There is, however, little for young children to do in the hotel so I would not recommend it to young families unless they have a good book with them! All in all, our stay was very enjoyable and coins in the Trevi fountain say we'll be back one day! :)

Room was excellent because divided into 3 separate areas. Huge amount of storage and good design. Aesthetically pleasing decor.
